Most of us assume that sliding into poverty means something went terribly wrong. This video introduces Dan Price, a man in his fifties who, according to the video, has chosen a bare-bones life even though he could afford more. He lives in a hand-built underground shelter, owns a single spoon, fork, and knife, and reportedly spends only about five thousand dollars a year.
